Villa Serenity Terms and Conditions
In effect from 25 August 2012

1. Introduction
“Villa Serenity’s Terms and Conditions” is applicable to all guests being accommodated by Villa Serenity. “Guests” are referred to any person such as yourself, entering Villa Serenity’s premises.

Please sign the last page if you agree with our terms and condition, at the latest upon checking-in at Villa Serenity before providing full payment for your stay.

2. Accommodation
2.1 Room reservation
 

All our prices are in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Without a deposit the reservation is not valid and may be cancelled without notice, see clause 4.4.1 and 4.4.2. for payment methods and deposits, respectively.
Before checking-in into the room, please pay in full your booking for your total stay.

2.2 Room rate
 

For the latest rates please contact our reception.
NB : No Refund
To benefit from out weekly and monthly rates you will need to directly book with us.

2.2.1 Weekly Rate = get 1 Night FREE
 

If you stay with us for 7 (seven) nights, you only pay for 6 (six) nights
Promotion room rate ( Applicable from 1 September 2012 )

2.2.2 Monthly Rate
  If you stay with us for 30 (thirty) nights, you only pay for 26 (twenty-six) nights.

3. Room capacity
3.1 Backpackers
  Backpacker rooms are only for 1 (one) person per room, guests cannot bring friends to stay the night.
3.2 Villa Rooms
  Villa rooms capacity are shown in the price list (clause 2.2), extra beds will be charged.

4. Payment
We accept:
4.1 Cash
 

Payment in cash must be in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
Please do not leave the reception until you have received your receipt after paying.

4.2 Bank Transfer
  Villa Serenity accepts bank transfer but please send a few days before your checkout because transfers may take longer than a day to be received and/or may be denied.

Villa Serenity is not responsible for any incurred bank fees from bank transfers. If there is a difference in payment due to an insufficient transferred fund, please settle.
4.3 PayPal
 

Villa Serenity accept PayPal transfers but please send a few days before your checkout because transfers may take longer than a day to be received and/or may be denied.
A transfer by PayPal incurs a fee of 3.14% per transfer; please add it to your transfer amount. Villa Serenity is not responsible for currency exchange fluctuations.

4.3.1 Credit Card (MasterCard and Visa)
 

For deposits, please send us by email your credit card number, date of expiry, name of cardholder to info@balivillaserenity.com where by manual key-in we will charge your card, deposit amount charged can be found in clause 4.4.
Credit card payment incurs a fee of 3% of the total amount per transfer, which we will add to your total bill paid by credit card.   

4.4 Deposit
4.4.1 Accommodation deposit
  Deposit amount for accommodation is based on 50% of the total stay or the first night- whichever is higher.
4.4.2 Meal deposit
  Deposit for meals is based on 50% of the total amount due for the guest’s pre-booked meal for their entire stay.


5. Refund policy
5.1 Total Payment refund
  Total Payment refund meaning the total amount paid by the guest, being refunded to the guest after giving us a notice to cancel a reservation. In addition having Villa Serenity confirming to have received a notice from you.  
5.1.1 On accommodation
  If the guest has given a 50% deposit prior to checking-in, Villa Serenity will only return a percentage (%) of the total amount paid, as shown below:

5.1.2 On meals
  If the guest has provided a 50% deposit prior to check-in but decides to cancel before checking-in; Villa Serenity will return a (%) percentage of the total amount paid, as shown below:

5.2 No show
  In case the guest does not show up at Villa Serenity and has not provided a notice, Villa Serenity management as penalty will keep your deposit.
5.3 Force Majeure
  In the case of Force Majeure, where you are unable to check-in at Villa Serenity due to a reason beyond your control, the deposit will be kept, valid for a reservation in another period. Please inform us in advance at info@balivillaserenity.com


6. Check-In and Check-Out
6.1 Check-In
  Check-in is at 2pm. As the reception closes at 8pm, any later check-ins will be greeted by a night vigil that will not receive any payment; please settle your bill the morning after. Checking in much later than midnight will incur the same costs; no discounts can be given for checking-in late.
6.1.1 Passport photocopy
  Upon checking-in, we will need to photocopy your passport, where we will return it soon after.
6.2 Checkout
  Checkout time is before 1pm. Late checkout will incur additional fees.


7. Included in the Room Price
  • Access to our 14meter swimming pool
  • Access to our DVD and multilingual book library
  • Many cozy relaxation areas
  • Daily room service
  • Welcome drink
  • Wi-Fi access within Villa Serenity’s premises
8. Not Included in the Room Price
8.1.1 Tax
 

10% Government and 5% Service charge is not included in the price.
Rp. 20,000 police tax/person is also not included.

8.1.2 Drinking water
  Villa Serenity will refill your water bottle at a small charge.


9. Meals
9.1 Breakfast: Included in the price list (clause 2.2.)
  Two breakfast types: for backpacker guests, please fill in the “backpackers breakfast slip” and for villa guests please fill in the “villa breakfast slip”.
9.1.1 Extra charges
  Additional items requested other than those specified in the breakfast slip will be charged accordingly to the guest’s tab.
9.2 Lunch and Dinner
  Available at Warung Dolphin, a la carte.
9.2.1 Group buffet
  For groups of at least 10 people, buffet lunch and dinner is available. The buffet will consist of an appetizer, main course and dessert.
9.3 Early bird discount for pre-check-in meal reservation
  For guests who reserve a meal package for their entire stay at Villa Serenity prior to their arrival, they will receive a 20% discount on their total amount due for their meal bill.


10. Airport pickup
Airport pick-up and transfers from and to Ngurah Rai International Airport is available at Villa Serenity. Please book 24hours in advance.

A car has a max capacity of 2 passengers. The pick-up fee is Rp. 200,000 IDR per car per transfer and must be paid at the latest upon your arrival at Villa Serenity.

11. Health and Security
11.1 Accidents
 

Villa Serenity cannot be held responsible for any accidents occurring to the guest within and/or outside Villa Serenity’s premises. This includes accidents happening with Villa Serenity’s rentals.
Guests are to use Villa Serenity’s facilities at their own risk.

11.1.1 Pool
  The pool has no lifeguard on duty or a security fence for toddlers.
11.2 Loss of item
  Villa Serenity cannot be held responsible for any loss of item within or outside the premises; this includes when using the safety box provided.
11.3 Outside guests
  Friends can come visit but you are responsible for their actions.


12. Special Requests
12.1 Pets
  In general pets are not accepted in Villa Serenity, however it may be exempted if given permission by Villa Serenity management.
12.2 Disadvantaged
  Villa 1 Serenity is made to be able to accommodate disadvantaged people, please inform us well in advance to ensure we are able to properly the said guest.


13. Meditation room
The meditation room is a holy place, you may use it but sex, alcohol, smoking is not permitted in the room.

14. Reminders
14.1 Toilet paper
  Please use a minimal amount of toilet paper in the toilet; this is to avoid a blockage of our natural septic tank
14.2 Smoking and/ or lighting a fire
  Please do not smoke in your room, our roofs are flammable.  
14.3 Pests
  Please do not leave your food in your room or on the terrace as it attracts insects as well as rats.
